Since EarthRights International was founded in 1995, our factfinders have quietly traveled throughout Myanmar and its border regions, documenting human rights and environmental abuses related to major development projects. Our evidence-based approach to human rights factfinding is widely respected for its rigor and accuracy, and our reports have been cited by the International Labor Organization, the United Nations, the US State Department, and numerous other bodies. Our factfinders are the invisible heroes of our movement, taking tremendous personal risks to ensure that survivors of human rights abuses have an opportunity to tell their stories.
