Yanin Wongmai

Alumni Engagement Manager

Yanin is a development professional with more than seven years of experience working for Thailand based non-profit international organizations with involvements in several countries across South and Southeast Asia. These work experiences have made her adept at developing collaborations among funding agencies, civil society organizations, academia and communities for various projects at the local, country and regional levels.

In her current role at the EarthRights International, Yanin leads the co-design, planning and implementation of the EarthRights alumni engagement activities in the Mekong region. This includes support initiatives such as a small grants program, capacity building, online and onsite engagement platforms, networking, collaborations, and other areas.

She has a Bachelor’s in History from Chiang Mai University and a Master’s degree in Southeast Asian history from University of Malaya, which have equipped her with a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of Asia in general and Southeast Asia in particular.

She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, coffee, tea, and Origami.
