Kornkanok is a Thai lawyer who has worked on various human rights issues in Thailand for vulnerable groups such as stateless persons, migrant workers, hill-tribe minorities, indigenous people, urban refugees, and other affected communities. She also has an experience in business and human rights focusing on the affected communities on health, well-being, and environment from Thai investment. Many of her cases are related to the transboundary environment impact in the Mekong countries, but she also works a few cases that are located in other countries but impact Thai people, such as dams on the Mekong River. She is a member of the ETOs Watch Coalition to monitor the violation of Thai outbound investment as well as monitoring Thailand National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. Moreover, she did research on the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the context of Business and Human Rights.
