Julien Stevenson

Before joining EarthRights, Julien was an Institutional Development Specialist at HIAS Peru, where he led fundraising strategies that secured critical resources to protect and assist vulnerable refugees and migrants while advocating for their fundamental rights.

Earlier in his career, he worked with the French Development Agency in the Comoros and later in Senegal, leading and supporting projects focused on youth inclusion, rural financial access, women’s economic empowerment, sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and community development.

Julien holds a Master’s degree in International Development Economics and Project Management from the University of Clermont Auvergne, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Lumière Lyon 2.

He is deeply committed to advancing sustainable development and empowering local communities across Latin America. Outside of work, he enjoys trekking and trail running in the Peruvian countryside and exploring Lima’s vibrant culinary scene.
