Learning & Development Manager

As EarthRights’ Learning and Development Manager, Ali works to integrate and expand the scale and impact of the EarthRights School and other training programs for earth rights defenders. Ali has worked in the EarthRights Mekong and Amazon offices. She has also lived in Southeast Asia for over ten years and has worked in Canada, Finland, Guyana, and Brazil on international education initiatives related to experiential learning, pedagogy, and systems change. Ali believes in the power of networks that connect individuals working towards systems change and how they can mobilize collective action. She is passionate about bridging diverse sources and systems of knowledge. Ali holds a BA in Global Development from Queen’s University and an MA in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia.
