Environmental Monitoring Toolkit for Communities and Civil Society Organizations

This toolkit provides a set of easy-to-follow tools or methods to document locally occurring environmental and land-based issues in Myanmar. It provides guidance and resources for environmental defenders on how to monitor land and resource extraction that are adversely impacting communities, including environmental, social, and gender-based impacts. The toolkit has been developed with consideration of the shrinking civic space in Myanmar and aims to provide practical community monitoring and documentation options that can be used in the current social and political context.
