Luke Pacifico

Human Resources and Operations Associate

Luke Pacifico (he/him/his) joined EarthRights in August 2023 as Human Resources and Operations Associate. Luke used to be an educator and worked with kids for over 5 years, with his previous role at a Title I elementary school. Luke decided to transition out of the education field and into HR/Operations because he has always been a big proponent for educational issues. Although he doesn’t  legal expertise to actually fight the battles that the legal team does, Luke enjoys having heated discussions in a more informal way among family and friends about these issues. Over the years, Luke has developed many intrapersonal skills that he hopes to use in assisting the people that actually fight the human and environmental battles we engage in at EarthRights, especially alongside such a dedicated team of individuals.

Luke has lived most of his life in New York , and even tried to “make it” as an actor for a few years there. In the end, Luke ended up seeking out a different career and is excited to continue that growth here at EarthRights.
