
Alessia Cawley
Alessia Cawley is a second-year law student at the University of Connecticut School of Law with a passion for environmental justice. This summer, she is joining EarthRights International as a 2026 CREJ intern. At UConn Law, she is a member of the Energy & Environmental Law Society.
She graduated summa cum laude from Colgate University in 2025 with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Political Science. At Colgate University, she pursued an Environmental Honors thesis examining the relationship between discriminatory housing practices (redlining and racial covenants) and feminist activism using ArcGIS.
In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and spending time outdoors.
