Michelle Howard

Michelle is a rising 2L and Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar at NYU Law. She graduated with a degree in Bioengineering and a minor in Religious Studies from Stanford in 2020. Michelle is passionate about Indigenous rights, protecting the environment, and corporate accountability. Prior to law school, Michelle spent several years at a healthcare startup providing free health monitoring to eligible patients, was a Fulbright Scholar in Mexico, and served at a civil legal aid nonprofit in San Francisco. Michelle is a proud Mexican-American from Tucson, Arizona who enjoys baking treats, dancing, and spending time with loved ones.
