Lindsay Bailey

Lindsay Bailey (she/her/hers) re-joined EarthRights as a staff attorney in 2025. She is a human rights lawyer with experience in litigation and advocacy in the U.S. and internationally. Lindsay was previously a Bertha Justice Fellow at EarthRights from 2020 to 2022. She also worked as a supervising attorney at the Georgetown Environmental Law and Justice Clinic where she led projects in environmental and climate justice, corporate accountability, and Indigenous rights, and a legal fellow and staff attorney at the Center for Justice and Accountability, where she investigated and litigated cases on torture, extrajudicial killing, and other serious human rights abuses. She holds a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School and a B.A. hons. in politics and governance from Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to her work as a lawyer, she spent three years in Northern Ghana working with local governments. She is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia.
