Diverse Cultures, Common Challenges. The Amazon and Andes regions are home to hundreds of indigenous groups, each with their own unique cultural heritage, but shared challenges that cross national borders and cultural divides, including threats to their lands and livelihoods and systematic exclusion from decision-making around development projects.
